Plent Marine Collagen is a pure source of collagen from sustainably farmed fish. This is good for the fish and the workers, but also for you because these farmed fish – unlike wild caught fish – is free of heavy metals such as lead and arsenic.

It is crucial to understand that sustainability does not equal quality by default. Laboratory testing has shown that fish collagen from wild-caught cod - MSC certified or not - contains arsenic (and inorganic arsenic) and lead.
